| HEALTHY COLON |

What is really normal for a healthy colon?
Some people like to say that anything goes: whatever is normal for you--is normal.
On the other hand, we need to use a little common sense.
What goes in, should go out.
When your body starts digestion, it triggers peristalsis throughout your whole digestive system.
Therefore, in plainest and most simple terms, you really should poop every time you eat—three times a
day or more, for most people.
A normal bowel movement should:
- Emerge without pain
- Take no more than five or six minutes
- Measure about 12 inches in length
- Measure about 1-1/2 to 2 inches in diameter
- Be soft and not compacted
- Float rather than sink in the toilet
